ute looks sleeper with those rims hahah

Yeah mate matt from race brakes Sydney recommended it all. Said its about as good as it gets for stock brakes. Also got braided front hoses too.

Yeah mate my tailshaft has 2 cv joints the middle one behind the carrier bearing was near stuffed and the rear one was not far off so want to get it sorted before I get back to the drags. Still have not been sense I got my new tune with the new GTX about 6-7 months ago

ahh the ferodo pads, yep also heard they were the goer

whats the fix for the cv parts then? is there a stronger replacement?

Yeah should of wrote that earlier that they were Ferodo lol. Haha yeah stock looking is what im aiming for atm. Yeah think it's a stronger oversize cv unit. Joe said its good for a 1000hp so must be pretty heavy duty. Will wait and see when I get it back and give some details then.

Spoke to joe mate there is a few different options and depending on how much power you are looking for. Probably best to give him a ring ford freak he is more then helpful. The one I'm getting gets rid of the cv joints and replaces them with uni joints with a slip yoke. It's like what the v8 brute utes use he said.

Finally got to take the ute for a run at the track last night since I got it retuned last november and just got lots of wheel spin with the street tyres lol. Best run I got was 12.273 @ 125.61mph with 2.189 60ft. Pretty sh*t lol. There is another meet this Friday which I'm heading out too ordered a set of 275/40/17's mt et streets last week so they should be here for that. Also got a Malwood tramp rod kit too which has made a noticeable difference to the rear end.

Also thought I could live with out brembos after selling my 6pots but stock calipers with DBA T3 rotors and ferodo ds pads are just not cutting it so got on to a guy selling this setup off his GT r-spec.
