Gday Gaz and everyone. Last year was awesome fun minus the occasional drop of rain and I'm keen again if there is room on the oval. My old man and I are keen to park with the crew if there is 2 spots left. We will be in Geelong already so we can just meet up with u guys at the BP servo like last year but we can sort that out later.

Let me know if there are 2 spots and ill tranfer you some cash for our entry fees.

Melbourne fellas cruising down will meet at Shell Westgate outbound (get their 8am and leave 8:30am). It will take about 1 hour to get there. Fellas meeting in Geelong will most likely meet at Bunnings just near the turn off to Pidgons Rd entrance to the All Fords Day (meet around 9:30am). Will leave it up to Rudiger where he would like to give out the the window stickers to give you entry - but you have to be on time - can't keep the fellas waiting. I'm not going this year unfortunately. Like last year, also plan display sheets for your windows (tells passersby about your car - don't worry if it's stock - display sheets are optional if you don't want to do it).

Costs depending on what you want to do.

The cost to Show Cars $20 I.e. park in oval with us (I'll PM you with details on how to get the money to me)

Otherwise it's $10 for car and driver and then add $5 per passenger (parking in general parking area to side of oval)

Let you work out the economics as to what you want to.

Okay, so I'll be PM out to ask for details (needs those Kiwanis who ask for them on their entry form but I'll be consolidating it into one spreadsheet for them) and asking them for 16 spots. They'll probably guess how many cars will fit into 16 spots and as usual it will be small so don't be surprised on the day that it looks a little cosy (I think we asked for 10 spots one year and farrk me if we could only fit in 8 cars and 2 sideways ) Last year was a bit better - we had a better spot and could easily fit in 10 cars.

Cars being judged need to be on the oval with bonnets up and unlocked by 10:30am - if not they won't be judged. The judges won't necessarily be in our area at that time but that's what they say. So min be there and parked up on the oval by 10am. I'd suggest aim to be on the oval by 9:30am that way you can have 30-40mins to do last minute wipedowns etc of your cars Trip from Melbourne is about 1 hour (80km) so I'd be meeting up at Shell Westgate about 8am for a 8:30am departure to arrive at the Geelong meet point at 9:30am (hand out remaining window stickers) then head on into the event (which will literally be just across the road). Previous years were a huge queue but if you have a window sticker - they wave you through to the fast entry lane onto the oval You can't leave the oval until after 2:30pm (used to be 4pm but I think the event organisers have bowed to pressure and letting people off the oval at the time they all start to leave naturally )

Here's the entry form with more details. I'll PM you for relevent details - but have a think about what judging category you want to go in if you are entering your car to judge.
