Hi Everyone.

Was taking my parents for a drive on the weekend, left the sound off so my dad could hear the deep growl, and noticed that the pedal had a creaky sound when using.

Has anyone else noticed this.

Haven't had a creaky accellerator, but had my brake pedal squeaking twice early on. They lubed it the first time, but it came back. They then replaced some bushing and it has been fixed ever since. I think there was a TSB about it.

But of course I am completely on a tangent from the original question, and this does not help you in your quest for knowledge at all. So I apologise.

Mine creaked as well - they tried lubing it with no success it was internal - so they replaced it - take it to the dealer.

Might be my imagination but the accelerator pedal seems more responsive after the replacement but in any case the computer seems to need reseting when they replace it.
