LOL at this debate... so we've all decided they are wrong yet work so well... whats going on??

My car runs them, has awesome ecconemy, perfect idle, perfect start in hot and freezing showy mountains cold... I'll find the cold start vid I did and post it up, shows accual AFRs in the car as it starts and goes through its warm up.

But sure the spray pattern doesnt look right for a multi valve head... but they work and work well, so for those that cant afford IDs or any of the modded EV14 rang, 80lbs are still a very good option.

But in saying all this it did take Joe at Crescent Motorsport a fair amount of R&D on my car to get them running as perfect as they do.... but from this we have many many happy customers running 80s in BAs with 280wkws to FGs running 550wkws.

And as Ive always said, befor buying injectors, speak to your chosen tuner and see what he/she likes to tune... some dudes just simply don't have the R&D time and long term access to the same car that we do, hence why some say drilled stockers are the go... its horses for coarses so to speak.

Such a narrow spray pattern will be fired directly at the base of the central bridge. Even the ID range is not ideal but at least they have a much wider spray pattern so more fuel is directed at the valves.

Ford engineers went with a twin spray with minor bent angle so that fuel is directed at the valves......I prefer to follow this concept.

But like I have said before, I'd always go with what my tuner recommends as opposed to what you read on public forums!

Everyone will have a different opinion but I believe the 968's are well suited to our cars.....more so that the deka's. Even better is the EV14 twin spray that flows more that the 968's. Factory injector on the GT500 :-)

Doing the math the 440's are good for around 340 so if you don't plan on upgrading your turbo (that'll never get to 340) how are they not the best option? Basically just bigger factory injectors.

Trust me at 340rwkw's you're much better off with a Bosch EV14 123 (if you want to call it that) as it has 20+ % more flow, is the latest technology by Bosch and a FRP calibration summary is available. 968's are the old school EV6......think of the EV14 123 as the newer model 968 :-)

In my opinion tuners are only avoiding these as they're stuck in their old ways!
