Hang on a sec, why would you go 60's when you can go 80's for the same price? regarding the cold start and idle, it ALL comes down to the tune. I've had my 80's in for a week or so now and it's running puuuuurfect and idles like stock. Get the 80's don't be silly as you may regret it down the track. E85 FTW!

Mine idles better than stock as well once warm but start up and cold idle/running isnt good. What is your highway cruising fuel economy like?

In regards to the question about 60 or 80 lb injectors it come down to how much power you want. If your happy with 300 rwkw and your not going to end up going for more power then 60's will be fine but if you want more power later on then id recommend the 80's. Why would you want to do the job twice and pay for 2 sets of injectors. If you do your research you will find that all the new siemens deka injectors are petrol an flex fuel ready. At the end of the day an injector will only flow as much fuel as you let it which is why you retuned the computer to suit the injectors.

Thanks for all the replies, I have spoken to a few guys that have said that the 80s will increase the fuel consumption over a 60 due to the different spray pattern. So I will more than likely go with the 60s.

Mate go for 80lbs if your going to use E85.

Ive got them running in my G6ET for over a year now, on pump E85 and they idle perfectly and eccon isnt too bad for E85... I get around 350kays from a tank in heavy sydney traffic.

If your unsure, come down and we can show you how they run in my car... alot of guys have been douptfull due to being fed poor information, soon as they witness the car cold start, idle and drive, they are happy.

As an example, we made 430wkws on maxed 60lbs on 98, 355 on E85, and 80s have seen 455wkws on E85 with plenty left.

The golden rule is to find a tuner that's happy to use them... mine is tuned by CMS in Liverpool, Joe has had alot of experience in tuning BA BF FG on E85 in Sydney... mine being the guinne pig :)

Economy is great so far, drove from Sydney to Kiama and back, my average was 11.7l/100. Look, standard injectors to 80's, economy wise I cant see a change, it all comes down to the tune and the way you drive the car. I average between 350-400k's per tank, that day to kiama and back I got 470. For the same cost, you'd be mad goin the 60's.
