My territory was out of warranty with 60k, I was the 2nd owner and a totally different ford dealership than the one used for servicing changed both front ball joints for free due to the issue the SX series have....also, you would think with an Rspec etc you are paying for upgrades and tail shaft should be a heavy duty one...what now? nizpro or someone are going to be making a replacement for this also?? Mr_4.0 Member 1,096 Member For: 13y 11m 5d Posted 09/12/11 11:29 PM Share Posted 09/12/11 11:29 PM Why do people always expect free parts and service after warranty period? Why do people think all parts should last last beyond warranty period? If your tv come with a 12 month warranty then the maker of that tv only trusts that tv to be 100% for 12 months. They expect it could be run 24 hours a day for a whole year and that's where their confidence ends. Same with all car manufacturers. Their warranty is based on how long they believe the car will last and how much cost they are willing to absorb to fix them after purchase. If your tailshaft, motor, box, diff blow up 1 day out of warranty or 10 years out of warranty it's the same thing. They shouldn't owe you Jack! Don't like the product, don't buy it!I'm a ford man through and through but this has to stop.

Mr_4.0 Member 1,096 Member For: 13y 11m 5d Posted 10/12/11 12:01 AM Share Posted 10/12/11 12:01 AM My original fat ps3 cooked the motherboard after 5 years. My warranty was 3 years. It was a known design flaw. Should I of been covered? Of course not!!Now Sony onLy put a 12 month warranty on thier ps3 product. Customers will see this short warranty and should consider their purchase accordingly. Same with a car. You always take a risk something can break after warranty period. It's a risk with every car and maker. Not every car is perfect. Want perfection? Buy a rolls Royce!
