That was nearly a month ago... well done.

But what exactly is your problem? I asked a question and he promptly answered my question. Is that not ok with you?

Didn't realise there was a time limit on post replies.

Reading the same sh*t 3 times over gets boring, that's my problem. It's not hard to read in the first post that he wanted to keep stock piping/crossover so as to not attract unwanted attention from mr Plod, I mean hell, even I got that one.

Where exactly in any post before mine does he mention any intake mods? That was the question I asked. Then it was answered by saying yes he added a K&N filter. That is a modification to the standard intake system.

Or do you need to be walked through everything?

People that are interested in the build ask questions, that's how it works. Since it's not even your thread I don't see any reason for you to complain as it has nothing to do with you.

Hey all,

I have a FG xr6T Auto in Ego and I finally bit the bullet and got it tuned. My plan for the car the whole way was to keep a stockish look to it. I work nights so I dont wanna attract the attention of any bored cops in the early hours of the morning

I had my car tuned by XFT over here in WA the other day and it came back with 302.4 rwkw's @ 15psi.

Mods:

ID1000 injectors

Nizpro cooler in black

4" Nizpro exhuast

XFT tune

img002.jpg

The Dyno sheet shows Stock Power run(green), Tune and injector with cooler run(pink) and the then a run with the exhaust fitted(black)

Car feels totally different now and I couldnt be more pleased. It pulls real hard from down low and at high revs sounds mint.

I really wanted to keep the stock turbo and stock crossover for the time being and enjoy the instant boost of the lil turbo.

Some time next year I plan on going back to XFT for an upgrade to the Turbo to F6 spec, surge tank and possible turbo side intake.

Big thanks to Simon and the boys at XFT for a job well done and big thanks to this forum for helping me make educated choices!

Seems a bit low for quality gear though? Have you done anything to the intake?

Also, after all the debating over dyno wank figures & people that have been on this forum as lomg as you still try to compare figures with someone on the other side of the country?? Seriously...

Thanks.

The tyres don't stand a chance!

If I wasn't going to upgrade the turbo in the near future I would of done the port and flapper mod to keep that boost strong in the top end.

hey mate. did u do the turbo port mod and flapper.??

My whinge was justified :spoton:

K&N filter... That is not a standard intake!? There are many variations of modified intakes that retain the standard crossover. It's not the only part of an intake.

Maybe stick to your rice burners. As you don't seem to know much about the Falcons.

If you want to keep arguing PM me as further off topic posts in here with be deleted.
