Not a bad price but if that's all he was gonna do I thought I'd have a crack at doing it myself. Is it pretty straight forward? Anything I should be wary of before I do it?From what I've read removing a couple of the bottom leaves is the best way to go until desired height is reached, correct? Also, one of the bottom leaves that I'm wanting to remove has a bracket welded to it (attached pic), which to me doesnt look like its doing anything, any thoughts on whether its safe to remove this leaf?Cheers for any help

Wouldn't it weaken, with less leafs?

However it has another 3 spacers in the pack to compensate within the saddles. If you remove a couple of leaves you will have to replace them with something or there is no way of holding the diff in place. Best just to get the leaves reset. Dont use lowering blocks as they foul on the rim.

But I dont need one tonne, I barely carry anything and I never tow so its not an issue.Just get some lowering blocks, or reset your springs for 350.Yeah I got a quote for resetting them from Pedders for $260 which isnt too bad. I guess that's the road I'll be going down, I just wanted to see if I could do it and save some coin. The missus doesnt like me spending money on the car......
