I thought I would share my new intercooler and install with everyone. I went with an AVO kit, not the usual I know but I like to do things a little differently sometimes and not go with the 'norm'

My thoughts on this kit are that its a nice well thought out kit although is a bit of a pain to fit, alot of fiddling around and trimming of some metal here and there.

At the moment im half way through fitting it and have some photos to share. I think I will pull the cooler out tomorrow and do some more trimming as im not 100% happy with how it fits currently.

I will post more photos as more is done

Had to trim the Reinforcement bar so the end tanks cleared. Because of the thickness (90mm) of the core it was a super tight fit.

I will upload the rest of the photos tonight, as its all finished.

I have to say I like the kit now its on, it looks better than what I thought it was going to. And driving it...I now have that nice deep turbo flutter lol.

To tell you the truth, before I fitted the crossover piping I thought about getting it powder coated a rough satin black like the original crossover. But after fitting it I have grown to like it, the photos dont do any justice...looks alot better in person

They actually sell the coolers in Stealth black but I asked them to powder coat one for me in silver, and im glad I did. I got it powder coated even though everyone told me to leave it black.

The red crossover pipes are one of those love it or hate it type things, I dont mind them now.
