$1500 for the Xcal3 and tuning,

$300ish for a cat

$100-$150 to fit it

And whatever injectors cost + fitting.

I never think of vcm, but that'll save you $750.

Thanks guys, sounds like $2.5K is the average cost.

I guess I could spend that money on making the car even more enjoyable to drive!!

I drive a manual so I guess it will mean I am looking at a high 12sec sort of figure.

Any brands that are worth buying for the upgrade parts?

I ran a 12.9 in my ute with 303 on a stinking hot day, in a sedan on a cool night yould go a few tenths quicker.

Henz - would love to run a mid 12 sort of time, seems pretty respectable from what I have read so far.

If there is somewhere that I can get good quality parts for a decent price, let me know, or else I will probably just go with what the tuner has.

Where are you located? Best bet is to go through the tuner that is doing the work, unless you are buying second hand. Check out the for sale forum, you may find a bargain.

With a manual & 300kw, you will struggle into the high 12's. Best I could manage with 320kwish (115mph was highest trap speed), was 12.9 @ 113, even with semi's and no wheel spin. The 60 foot is the hardest in a manual. I could only manage 2.19....

Tobey,

I am located in Melbourne, been told by a couple of friends to go to Blue Power for tuning.

As for times, guess I will just have to do it myself and see what I can achieve. Anything in the 12's would be awesome but I am not expecting those times, just so I do not get disappointed.

As long as I beat any holdens on the road, I will be happy haha

Brad ran a 12.6 in his manual F6 sedan with 303 kw, but alot more supporting mods.
