Replacing my hose clamps as the idiot who owned the car before me has over tightened them and they are rooted, just wanting to know if there is any sh*t hot brands people use or just replace them with your run of the mill hose clamp ?

Cheers

Make sure the hose clamps arnt to wide as the hose wont compress into the grooves fully and the hose will blow off

Grub screw type hose clamps have got to be one of the most annoying items to have to work with. As has been said get rid of them and use the ones from Supercheap or Autopro etc. Much stronger and wont blow off.

TURBO SMART , MURRAY CLAMPS . Have not seen anything like these in either Autobarn or Supercheap ( not saying that there products are no good ) but I think just having piece of mind that no hose will ever blow of no matter what purpose it serves is worth spending a few extra pennies on .

I have some spare (=free) 2.75" t-bolt clamps that I bought as a pack of 10 if anyone wants 1 or 2. I think I only needed one of this size for the factory crossover. I'm in Sydney or will post if you send me postage $.

I'll confirm the size next time I go to the garage.
