3 Inch Intake On An Fg?

Note the whistle is much louder filmed from the outside, but also BA BF turbos sound better IMHO, maybe cos the FG is just a little guy...

I think the three inch might be a more high pitch noise. I know the stainless intake is crazy, sounds like a jet. I love it.

Here's a quick garage 2nd gear stall up with the above 3" intake I've pictured, gets to about 10ish psi boost

With 15psi tune on the road sounded good, but also search YouTube for Tim's FG xr6 turbo I think it is, I sold that guy an intercooler and he just had a autobarn 3" pipe silicone joiners and a pod, not a shielded airbox... That sounded great!

No lag, none, nothing... Very fast response, I took a vid to demonstrate initial takeoff in 2nd gear but that's private

I have a tune that makes 15psi @ 2430rpm, yet it ramps up fast but smoothly, so smooth infact that it's now my daily tune even though my other lower boost tune is quicker on the 1/4 mile due to more top end, this one responds quicker.... Kickdown is great... And aside from what you would think with my current tyres both in 22" and 19" it doesn't incinerate the tyres every time you look at the throttle, but it only holds 15psi till 4800rpm then the boost goes away :( only holds about 11psi till 6000rpm, stock turbo stock actuator stock dump, mates missus has a G6ET and reckons mine drives more stock than their stock one if you know what I mean, just has a bit more shove in the back

awesome batman, looking forward to december when my car is booked in. I had a BA running 14 pound which was fun, but lots of lag then a kick in the ass, this should be completely different.
