But if BA's can make 350 through nearly a meter of bent 3 inch pipe surely I can make 300 through 30cm straight bit?Over boost is there but you don't reallise cause of tune/acuator etc. Remove them and I think you'll find your sucking in way too much air. Hence unnecessary.It's not the volume it's the compression where power is made. Ideally you need to flow just enough ambient air to reach your compressed air goal and no more.didnt think of it like that. and I cant argue with it. nerd. Funny how most 1000hp GTRs run tiny twins or a big single roughly the same as our 300 pod.The more ambient to compressed ratio the more lag, if a 3 inch can flow the boost you need the rest is a waste no? Donating Members 15,637 Member For: 17y 6m 15d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 18/10/11 10:58 AM Author Share Posted 18/10/11 10:58 AM Well they come into it as well as you can only flow as much as your dump and cat can, best bet is to pick what ever you need there and adjust your intake accordingly.Personalty I think the stock dump has it (considering it's only about 4 inchs or so long your actually replacing f*ck all for $600+ and is not worth it at this level.Ford must of put heaps of research into the turbo obviously, and we all know they can smash 35/40's easily, you want to capitalize on that not make it worse.
