http://youtu.be/bL8C5JpHIHc This would have to be the worst case of Child abuse you will see. Each person that walked past should be charged. If mods don't want to show it understandable. Happened a couple of days ago. I'm a grown man with a 13year old And was on the verge of crying.

FFS that's so sad.

Shows you how much they value life.

My best mate gets his rags made over there. So he is there a fair bit checking stock and so forth. He says you could drop dead on the street and be left to lay there for days. No one cares.

Farken dogs

That is the most disturbing thing I have ever seen. Makes you wonder how the hell people could do that? They should all be shot, not charged.

That is terrible, just as sad are comments I read from chinese people about this kind of thing, here anyone can just stop and help, but there the passerby can be held liable etc...

But seriously the *beep* had to run over the kid? Couldn't have gone around... I hope they catch the f*cker and put a bullet in its head

I was wondering the same thing. Hopefully she's ok. Really makes you wonder how they can just ignore it. Scared, just don't care, what?

The description on Youtube...

STORY:

Synopsis: October 13th afternoon around 5:30, a car accident occurred at the Guangfo Hardware Market in Huangqi of Foshan. A van hit a 2-year-old little girl and then fled. No passersby reached out to help and then another car ran over her. Over the span of 7 minutes, a total of 17 people passing by failed to extend a hand or call the police, up until the 19th person, a garbage scavenger ayi [older woman], who lifted her up after discovering her but the little girl in her arms was like a noodle, immediately collapsing back onto the ground. The trash scavenger ayi called for help, and the little girl's mother, who was in the vicinity, immediately rushed over and rushed her to the hospital. The news report video above has been viewed nearly 700k times on popular Chinese video-sharing website Youku since it was uploaded 17 hours ago and currently has over 6200 comments spanning 210 pages. This story is also spreading on China's popular microblogging service Sina Weibo in addition to receiving a lot of views and comments on China's major internet news portals and communities.

In addition to showing the little girl, Yue Yuem being run over twice and many of the bystanders who didn't stop to help her, it also shows that Yue Yue is currently in the hospital in critical condition. Police have already found the second driver but have yet to find the first driver as they were unable to read the first van's license plate and are calling upon witnesses for help. Yue Yue's parents are also shown.

Local news article confirms she's no longer...

A TWO-year-old Chinese girl is dead after she was struck by two vehicles and then ignored by passers-by.

More than a dozen people walked past her as she lay bleeding in the street, The South China Morning Post reported.

The girl, known as Yue Yue, died yesterday after slipping into a coma following Thursday's accident. The vehicles struck her after she wandered out of her parents' shop in Foshan, part of the southern Guangdong province near Hong Kong.

The China Daily, the country's official English-language newspaper, said she had been declared 'brain dead' and could die at any time.

But News website Shanghaiist said doctors at General Hospital of Guangzhou Military Command confirmed she had died from "severe brain injuries".

Closed-circuit TV footage obtained by Southern Television Station shows a white van hitting the girl, one of its front wheels driving over her body. It then pauses momentarily, before driving away, running her over with its back wheel in the process.

Three people then walked past, before a truck drove over her, the driver not appearing to notice. More than a dozen people then walked or drove past the badly-bleeding girl and either ignored her or did not notice her.

Finally, after seven minutes had passed, a woman collecting rubbish runs to her aid, picking up her motionless body before her mother runs outside and carries the girl away.

Yue Yue's father, 31, who did not give his name, told the Post, "I wonder if the driver tried to kill my daughter because he thought that by doing so he wouldn't have to pay as much compensation?"

Both drivers were arrested, and the driver of the white van was said to be being held by police.

Yangcheng Evening News quoted the man who first struck Yue Yue as saying, "If it was you who hit someone, you'd run too. You can see the little girl, looking around when she walked. If she walked properly, how could I hit her?"

In response, one user of Sina Weibo, a Chinese microblog similar to Twitter, wrote, "This society is seriously ill. Even cats and dogs shouldn't be treated so heartlessly."
