To all you guys a big thank you , I think a great big light bulb has just gone off above my head.

You know I could have all the money in the world and build a car that's just out off control ( for the street ) , but the one thing it won't buy is experience .

Back to the drawing bord .Think I will start with a PW stg2 colorer , PW race air box , battery relo , and maybe a PW surge tank and of course a flash tuner a tune .

From experience my car was faster 0>100 when I had 300rwkw than with 340rwkw. But from 100>200 the 340rwkw tune was faster. I think it depends on what you want and how you plan to use it. I agree with most people here that to make a fast street car it's not about having the biggest kw's but having useable power.

I have found this also, The only time my car is any faster is at a speed I probably shouldn't be doing anyway. In most circumstances I think a tune, dump, cat would probably beenough.

Your too harsh on your car man, few tweaks here and there and it'll be a rocket. Not everyone nails there setup first go.

My ute has plenty of mumbo with 283rwkw, but next mods will be brake upgrade, and decent shockers.

As stated here, great heap of power is no good if you cant get it to the ground.

I do a lot of 1,000k round trips, go to the dump, run down the street, just go for a drive, and it does all that as well as giving a grin when needed :sungum:

Dont waste your money on crap.

Spoke to the boys at elite auto today quite surprised , cooler / air box / injectors / clutch and maybe a couple of mods to the turbo should see anywhere around 280 - 300 rwkw.

Couldn't agree with you more about getting the handling set up right as well .
