People,

Just a quick question, sorry if it's been answered a million times, couldn't seem to find anything in a search. Looking at doing a service on my car today '03 XR6T manual 105,000 km.

Question being, do I need to use a fully synthetic oil or will a semi-synthetic like HPR-15 do the job?

Also, does anyone know when the spark plugs would've been or should be replaced? Will have a look at the service manual when I get home from the outlaws a bit later if that'll tell me anything.

Most people seem to use a fully synthetic oil like Nulon or castrol 10w-40.. But I can't see anything wrong with a semi synthetic oil..

these motors run pretty hot so I'd suggest not skimping and doing full synthetic (Castrol Edge 0w-40, or Edge 10w-60 if you do sustained hard driving)
