Looking at doing a service on my car today '03 XR6T manual 105,000 km. Question being, do I need to use a fully synthetic oil or will a semi-synthetic like HPR-15 do the job? Also, does anyone know when the spark plugs would've been or should be replaced? Will have a look at the service manual when I get home from the outlaws a bit later if that'll tell me anything.

But I can't see anything wrong with a semi synthetic oil..

I would just stick with whats known. There a really good thread on oil here and what to use.
