The lip is what gives the guard strength.

When rolled over the guard will be floppy. Just be sure not to lean your arse against it at next secret meet or it may cave in.

which is why they can be a rwc issue, a bit expensive to go back after it's been done

It wouldn't be roadworthy with 10's on there anyway so might as well make it more illegal..

It would be expensive for me to go back now as it is mick! I think It would be unlucky to draw attention for rolled guards.

No, but at least I have the 19's in the garage and can wind up the coilovers!

the gaurds will not draw attention, but if it gets canaries due to ride hieght, wheel size or being in the wrong place at the wrong time and you need a rwc, that's when it may become an issue if the tester picks up on it, I'm sure most at this point would not care, but as mentioned earlier there has been one guy that got done for it and in his case he was told he would need need 1/4s.

There have been plenty of cars that have gone through rwc's with rolled gaurd and no issues, but just making sure your eyes are open to what may/can happen

Got the guards done today at Wall St Kustoms. Very happy, drove 50km back from there and haven't had it scrape once, although I am having some other issues with the car so not really booting it around. The rears are pumped a little as there was f*all lip, and the fronts were just cut and rolled.

Chris and Dave really know and care about what they are doing, and are top blokes as well (for Expensive Daewoo drivers!)
