I have just purchased a 2008 FG XR6T and can't work out if the bluetooth function is not working or just hasn't been installed. The ICC menu has a phone option that I can not acces which I originally thought meant that the module has not been installed but I noticed a bluetooth symbol on the ICC screen just above the antenna icon and also the phone button is on the steering wheel.

Any help would be appreciated.

if you press the phone button, or hold it even does it do anything on the screen.

If you read your manual there should be a way of putting the system into pairing mode so you can set it up on your phone to connect.

I'd say there is something wrong if it doesn't let you access the phone section in the menu.

Try pulling the applicable fuse, cycle your ignition and then replace the fuse and see how you go. Can't recall the fuse number so you'll have to check your manual...15 maybe :dontknow:

Mine did that occasionally, they ended up replacing the module under warranty.
