Higher intake temp than ambient temp results in the dyno working it's magic & guesstimating what the actual figure should be based on intake/ambient temps being equal. Making the sensor hotter will increase power figures by cheating, putting a decent cooler in to control intake temps will also show a marginal increase, but will keep it repeatable. All this bitching about what your car made in comparison to this one & what it should have made is rubbish. How many times does it need to be said that dyno's are a tuning tool, nothing more? Unless you're on the same dyno on the same day placing the sensors in exactly the same location & strapping down exactly the same way, comparisons should never be made.Everyone putting their 2c in about their power figures, post up your mph as well for a fair comparison please. I bet they will all be fairly similar based on a car with same transmission & mods to the OP's car.that's a couple of insiteful things in the last few days, you go alright hey lol. Do have to agree with you though only true comparison is to run it down the 1/4 & see where your at. I recently did it with one of my mates ute & it did exactly this, what the dyno said definalty didnt equate to down the strip. Dyno said amost 290 but the track said at my best guess is about 240. The ute has all the mods for an easy 300 but they were havin issues with it & said it was all fixed but we now know its not.

I was doing 12.82 with about 265kw on standard injectors and sort of coasting from half way down the track due to injectors maxing out... on street trim... It felt nice & smooth but definatly wasnt quick. Was my first time driving it & was gettin a couple extra tenths out of it than the owner & abit more consistancy but there wasnt anymore in it no matter what I tried & there was zero wheelspin

Maybe they fiddled the weather input data to make it read higher?

Have got no doubt it'll be soughted & we should see some quicker times out of it yet.
