I am happy with the way it goes.My tuner said I have a waste gate actuator problem as well, which is limiting my boost.

WTF?Mine had 285rwkw with 10psi, typhoon intercooler, center muffler removed and k&n filter... On LPG... Put in a process west stage 2 cooler and piping retaining stock crossover for reliability and then did valve springs, once again for reliability... Same boost... Little bit more power...Stock cat, stock auto, stock intake, stock turbo and actuator...

I stuck it back in when I replaced the motor because I was a bit nervous I was thinking of getting a 3.5" exhaust system with a 5" cat and a 4" dump and putting the 12lb actuator back in. The standard one seems to get on power ok if you keep your foot in it but if you button off a little and then go back on it doesn't seem to boost so well. I think I will be around the 320wkw fairly safely at modest boost if I do that.

Slash Donkey Dick Member 801 Member For: 14y 8m 22d Gender: Male Posted 13/10/11 06:42 AM Share Posted 13/10/11 06:42 AM High Intake temps as a result of the continuouse dyno runs will contribute to a lower dyno figure in the final result.Run it up cold may allow the car to produce additional 10rwkwWhat? Higher intake temp than ambient temp results in the dyno working it's magic & guesstimating what the actual figure should be based on intake/ambient temps being equal. Making the sensor hotter will increase power figures by cheating, putting a decent cooler in to control intake temps will also show a marginal increase, but will keep it repeatable. All this bitching about what your car made in comparison to this one & what it should have made is rubbish. How many times does it need to be said that dyno's are a tuning tool, nothing more? Unless you're on the same dyno on the same day placing the sensors in exactly the same location & strapping down exactly the same way, comparisons should never be made.Everyone putting their 2c in about their power figures, post up your mph as well for a fair comparison please. I bet they will all be fairly similar based on a car with same transmission & mods to the OP's car.
