Best way to describe it is if you were drinking somthing out of a straw and get to the last bit you get that slurping sound when your done. It gets louder when the fuel is lower...hasent caused any probs just want to know if this sound is normal or not...

You can just hear a soft swishing sound in the fuel tank. I normally only noticed it reversing out of the driveway in the morning. I figured it's just a Ford thing, not much insulation there or something. Performance from new has been fine.

Probably not normal but not uncommon either. Usually becomes noticeable with around 100km range left. Can't say it's caused any problem but sounds terrible when stationary. I took it back to Ford and after the usual "we cant hear anything" I had them replace the whole sender unit/swirl pot assemblies. Didnt fix it. I think its just an inherrent design issue. But it does sound like its sucking air in. Quite annoying when the car is so quiet inside.
