hey guys have been reading on different peoples power to mods on there rides and have noticed alot of different results of gains from different mods which I presume is from there tuners abillity or how hard they are pushing boost . any ways :blaah: my point is im after what people think or can add to my to do list to achieve a healthy reliable 350rwk tune for an every day ride . I have a 07 bf mk2 xr6 turbo auto , all stock atm but looking at tune very soon just with injectors for now . the only local tuner uses vcm and prefers bosch injectors . due to funds I only wanna buy mods that I dont have to upgrade at a later time if possible to achieve my goal . so on my list is

4' dump to 2 x 2 1/2 split ( x force most likely )

process west stage 2.3 or 3.2 kit ( I like race box and throttle relocation as makes more sense to me ) or a rapids of similar set up

turbo actuator ( 12 or 14 psi ? )

wahlbro fuel pump

using about 15 psi peak to achieve

and that's about where my knowledge or guess skills end lol

any advise on if this if it sounds like a set up to achieve and in what order to safely do as want to do bit by bit over a few tunes due to patience would be most apprecated and sorry if in wrong area of threads as this is my 1st attempt

walbro will help engine not blowing up, but keep it over half a tank.

zorst will add good power, but will drop when hot/ after a hard run etc...

cooler kit will stop power loss (as much) when hot

actuator will help hold boost

injectors will be needed for 350

valve springs will prol need to be upgraded. I have f6 springs for my power, but dont redline often (dont need to)

should be fine for 350 on 15psi, if not enough get a 50/50 98ron/e85 tune and plenum for 400 or so.....

Id say 60lb per hour injectors should be able to support that power if your lucky one of the excellent tuners that look through these forums may come along and suggest the best options.

Look at my mods list if you want a reliable 350.

A surge tank should be a must, if it's your daily, a surge tank will save you having to fuel it up everyday and provides more safety for your motor. 60lb Injectors will keep the flow up, bosch 968s won't. Your tuner might find ID750s good to tune, but they cost more again.

The more free flowing everything is, the easier it can make the power. Get the best parts you can, cause I'm sure you'll want more when you get there.

PRobably go for a 3.5" exhaust as well as the twin 2 1/2 can become a little restrictive

Injectors need to be fitted at the time of the tune, or else the car will have a hissy fit. As for which injectors, let your tuner know what sorts you know are good for the power you want and see what the prefer to tune.
