Dont want to rush in and buy something im not happy with. Im looking at either spending a little less to buy and xr6t and parting with some cash for mods or spend a little more to buy an F6 and just do more conservative mods.At the moment I am leaning towards the F6, purely because as standard they come out with better gear, Brembo's, suspension, more power etc. But having said that, after the purchase price of the car, intercooler upgrade, CAI and a tune im probably looking into the $33-35k figures. Roughly estimate power outputs of 270rwkw im told.Where as if I buy an xr6, I should think I will be able to get what im after for around $18-20k or so(id be in the market for a bf mkii). Then for mods I would want to do cooler, exhaust, clutch, CAI, valve springs, injectors, fuel pump, tune, some fat tyres and suspension(over time of course). A mate of mine has the same setup in his BF T and made 316rwkw on 10psi and the power is ample for myself. He has done all this plus the purchase of the car for under 30k, except he hasnt yet upgraded the clutch yet.So my question is in the long run am I better to part with a little more cash to buy an F6 or buy the cheaper variant and spend more on mods? Would you justify the $5k difference and buy the F6?Much appreciated,Benny

I nearly bought an XR6T before my F6.

Myself I'd go with the fg. In my opinion the bf looks better outside but the fg has a nicer interior and all round better car in stock condition.Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk

Turbulence Member 15 Member For: 13y 4m 9d Posted 10/10/11 04:37 AM Author Share Posted 10/10/11 04:37 AM In terms of brakes and suspension, would you still buy an FG over an F6 for the money?

Then ended up driving one, sold the BF and orded a new FG XR6T.Should be in my driveway in no more than 2 weeks, just buy the newer model and save for brakes , you won't be sorry. Turbulence Member 15 Member For: 13y 4m 9d Posted 10/10/11 10:22 AM Author Share Posted 10/10/11 10:22 AM I love the look of the FG, and ive driven a couple, only in auto though which puts me off, but something about it turns me off, like a bad memory, but I cant figure out what I dont like about them, maybe I dislike the fact that I dont dislike anything about them haha. What are the main differences between the BF and FG?
