did everyone forget already avo have been well proven on xr6t's and looks factory

http://www.avoturbo..../ford_fmic.html

and just for the record the fastest f6 in s.a used this kit @ 128.8 mph with 430+ rwkw

adrians f6 ute used this kit at 414rwkw

and its a decent price if your looking to keep it stock, dont rite off the factory air box set up to soon

Bruce recomended the AVO kit as its readily Available, Retains the factory look and is cheaper but not many people have good things to say. And theres no prices on there website!

definitely beware of 16psi or maybe 17 lol the only thing is I'm having jd custom make the inlet and outlet 3 inch on the avo cooler it's not as big surface area as the other coolers but it is quite thick and is actually really good quality well we will see eventually anyway

Its $1320 for the AVO intercooler kit, I have one going on my car

I got quoted $1350 for the Rapid V2 so for the sake of $30 id rather go the rapid kit.

AVO may be less common but its quality gear. They have been turboing fords for a long time.

I could be wrong but im 99% sure they did the original turbo xe's

I went with the AVO kit for the reason of looking as stock as possible, it was a comprimise for me but after talking to a few people the AVO kits seems to be a high quality peice of gear.

We will see when my car goes on the dyno the differences between the AVO kit and the others, im very curious myself.

And Rapids was another option for me but I didnt like the idea of paying up front and then having to wait months and months for the gear that may never arrive. Had one experience with Rapids and that was enough, regardless of how good the gear is.
