has anyone used the coolerworx piping with the rapid sysytems battery relocation?? my intake is going to be a bit of a mix and match affair (prefer the rapid relocation cos the battery sits at an angle) and im assuming for later on this cooler pie setup lines up with the PW stage 2 coolers??

I wouldn't mind knowing about this also as I think I'm gonna do a similar setup to you. I have the coolerworx piping currently but has anyone tried cutting or trying new silicon joiners to fit other piping kits to the process west stage 2 coolers??

Don't quote me but I think the process west runs larger diameter piping. You could run those step silicone hoses where needed.

In this thread Bomber makes reference to the pipe sizes - http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/76602-thanks/

My battery kit, I think, is similar to rapids one. Mine sits a bit higher and is very close to the hotside pipe.

I know if mine was lower it would definately foul on the pipe.

Hmmmm looks like it might be touch and go.. Easy solution is to just buy the PW stage 2 kit now and keep the cooler core for later.. But unfortunately that's not gonna go well with the minister for war and finance.. Bugger..

Nice bit of kit Stainless. I've got the rapid one and it fouls on the herrod pipe only just. I took the Herrod pipe off today and theres a fair chunk of it grinded off from rubbing on the battery tray.

Good thinking adding the extra bracket for the battery holder too, saves going out and buying a different one like I had to.

Why doesn't anyone want to just run the PW piping? Personally I like the 3 inch straight into the throttle body idea that plaz and rapid do.

With stupid.

Also puts the plumbing in a spot that gives neater finish when plumb back hose connected. Its a fat hose and needs to be pretty straight.
