Engine Destruction - Tech Tips His Hat To Us

:tears: Well the other day the car stalled and wouldnt start. It was put on a tow truck. It just had a new gearbox put in and the mechanics may have damaged the starter when putting it back in.

The sound was like it was spooling. I followed it to Ford and the mech looked at it and shook my hand. He said this is the first engine he knows that has let go.

I watched him do compression checks. number one - zero, number two - zero, number 3 - zero, number 4 - zero. All plugs fouled with oil. I then walked away shaking my head.

Problems to date

1. New gearbox

2. brake shudder

3. new engine

4. new headlghts left and right due to chrome falling out

5. continuos stalling.

I really like this vehicle but wouldnt this annoy even the most patient man
