Busy night for me last night. I was in Shepparton for a car shoot...

Then as I got back into town I saw the orange glow that could've only been a big fire out towards my sisters place. So I raced out there to find the fire a couple of valleys over from where they live.

Star trails shot of the view from their backyard...

And I also did a quick timelapse using the same shots that created the above photo...

Make sure you change the quality to 720p and watch it in fullscreen mode or else you won't see all the stars.

The shots of the jeep look great, sharp as and I love the lighting

The star trails pic looks too busy for me

Awesome storm in Mt Isa last night and I didn't bring my camera, never tried capturing fireworks or lightning so I doubt I would have made it worthwhile venturing outdoors

Yeah. I think the same with star trails. I had all the files there for the time lapse so I thought I'd give it a go anyway.

I would love a 70-200 f2.8, probably my next lens if I ever do my tax return

I need to get of my arse and buy a new lens also.,

Anyone got an opinion on the Canon EF-S 10-22mm f3.5-4.5 USM Lenses

Currently I have an EF 50 and EF-S 55-180.. Need something that is more indoor friendly..
