Have read up some more and am leaning towards this over the 600D now. Can get a tri-lens kit for only $240 more over the 600. I like the LCD on top and the wheel seems easier to navigate. Is ugly by comparison IMO, but I think for a couple of hundred I would regret not getting it. My only question is, how long has the 60D been out and is it likely to be superseded anytime soon?
