With a calendar you would need to do it one by one in different locations. Would take up a lot more time driving around but there is still a while until next year..... Or the year after.

The pics will also be fresh provided you don't show anyone until the final product is done.

I think it's a great idea.

Plenty of cars on here that are worthy, but also different cars would be good just to mix it up like that Chev you did. Such I simple idea amazed no one thought of it. Always liked a good car calendar, and no women laying on cars as it takes away from the car being the central character. I know I will be shot down for saying that, but there is sports illustrated for them to look at.

You're right Paulie, production costs would be high, with a lot of travel and hours put into it, but I think it's doable.

I think the best approach might be to shoot it, design it, show an example of it and then sell the final printed version on pre-order only. That way we're not left with a heap of calendars that we paid for, but can't sell.

Kind of like the car of the month idea but skipping all the bullsh*t and going straight for the end result. :spit:

But yeah :+1:

That's not mine... How it's done though is by taking a bunch of photos at different focal lengths. The photographer would've moved forward and back from the concrete block to keep the framing of the block the same throughout the shots.

It's a great example of how a long focal length really pulls the background of an image up.

Thread for the calendar discussion is FordXR6Turbo.com Calendar.
