freaky how muchy coin you got?

Ok so shy has got me convinced on a 60d, what's a decent macro lens for up to $800, or should I just get a 50mm and reverse or extend it?

well I don't want the magnification or hassles of a MPE-65, only just a beginner. I would like to be able to get at least 1.5:1

I bought a canon 50mm lens which was 2:1 then went and bought an extender for it (which costs almost the same as the lens) all up setting me back about 550.. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to play with it much recently.

Thanks heaps Adam, the review looks good and it's reasonably priced.

The new Canon 650D that was just announced looks like a good step up from the 600D/60D.
