The 60D has a few features which don't sound like they'd matter to you much, so save the money. Image quality wise they're the same, so again, no advantage spending more than you need to. 60D would be easier to shoot video on because of the articulating screen, it's got a couple more FPS and it's a more robust body. Lots of useful information in them. If you're looking to understand the technical side of what makes a photograph eg.
