Those 'some' cost a lot of money though, so for the casual shoot they'd be fine.It depends how seriously you're planning on taking it. If it's just a camera for the occasion use then go for the kit lenses. There's third party lenses available, but to be honest I don't know anything about them. I'm a huge Canon slut, so I've only got Canon lenses.

He said the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8. about the $1000 mark from them, which I'd be stupid to get from them anyway lol, but as he had no Canon mounts he shown me one on a Nikon. It is a bloody ripper lens from what I seen, capturing a heap of the surrounding area around me.Now the question..has anyone had a Tokina lens and have anything to say? He also said to jump on flickr and search for that specific lens and you can view photos that has been taken with that one.Nearly laughed in the guys face when he said their Canon 580 Speedlites are $599.. Hahaha..I wouldn't mind a fisheye but for car photography I'm not sure if it'll look right, people have any links to other photographers using fisheyes on cars? I mentioned to the guy I'd buy Canon but the prices they ask is just stupid.

But it's just the damn prices! Maybe I'll just have to ignore the price and get it lol. Even if I get into a bit of club photography it could make some great pictures..Also, looking through flickr earlier no one was giving the lens a bad name. First I'd heard of the brand. But everyone who has it seems to love it!Cheers Airstrike, great photo Edited 11/02/12 09:53 AM by Shyfrd

The distortion from the lens isn't very flattering on people.Alright popped into camerahouse today and asked the dude what he recommends for a wider lens than my current 17-50. I just found it a pain in the butt using the 50mm last time I was out, may also have to do with the fact I had no flash.. But with my new found understanding and knowledge (lol) I'll give it another crack. It would be great to use the f/1.8..crisp!Thanks for the links Adam! think that'll be the next lens..after a 580 lol, birthdays just around the corner, might have to drop a couple of hints..hahaha
