Absolutely mate. It's always good to let someone who plays with these every day to have a look.

Just to make sure all is well and your not gonna be spending a fortune on a rebuild. Just to be safe, maybe take it easy till that happens ay?

if it was absolute pressure and saying that it was roughly 100kPa atmospheric pressure then it works out to be 10.8PSI

Kinda doesnt seem right either way anyhoot..

Absolute pressure would be taking into account the weight (pressure) of the Earth's atmosphere yes? Where as we usually deal in PSI above atmospheric pressure. I'm figuring this from the tip of converting boost from XCal logs - MAP and BAP - manifold absolute pressure and barometric absolute pressure. MAP minus BAP, then divided by 2.04 = PSI for my pretty graphs in excel.

So 1 bar (1.01325 bar according to my converter app) is one atmosphere , aka 14.5 PSI?

180 -100 = 80kPa above atmosphere, giving us 11.6PSI??

Probably some bad maths in there somewhere but we'll see. 11.6 seems low! hahaha.

180 kpa works out to be approx 11.6, the power level for that boost is not unrealistic, although most cars need a bit more boost than that to get that power, it depends on how the car responds to it's mods, it's general condition, afr it is tuned to etc etc

I just think it would be much safer to get a second opinion on the whole thing mate. Take it for a trip down to Mick and just see if all is well.

Either way, it can't hurt, and it MAY save you thousands !!

Good luck :)

^^What he said..

If u look again it sits on 175kPa almost the whole way there is a little blip where it goes up to 180kPa but that's in the mid range area at mid-low 200+rwkw.

Peak power of 316rwkw is made at roughly 9PSI.... if it is in absolute Kpa
