Hey guys,

Bought the car a year and a bit ago with 60lb injectors, surge tank, option 3 clutch and tune.

Decided to have a go myself so ordered a xforce exhaust of rapidsystems, chris was great to have a chat to and offered plenty of advice on the multiple questions I had and picked up a 1000hp plazmaman intercooler kit complete with plenum and race airbox who were great with price and had awesome customer service. Would definatly recommend anyone thinking about dealing with either just ring them and go for it.

After ringing a couple of tuners I decided to go with autotech as spiro and the others seemed genuinely interested in talking even though they knew I was a uni student on budget (at first haha) working part time whenever I could to save up that little bit extra. Traveling out to inspect the shop in person before making my final decision I was amazed how cheerful everyone was from the younger mechanics to Spiro, Joe and Genia and how busy but more importantly clean/organised the workshop was.

From putting my car on the stands to putting the bumper back on it took me and a mate two weeks to pull apart the car and put it all back together aswell as doing a service on it, learnt alot of small but important things on the way and encourage anyone to give it a go if there thinking about modding as I found it so much more rewarding driving out of autotech knowing I had done most of the work.

current mods are

• pedders springs (dunno what type cause they were on the car when I bought it)

• enkei gtc01 wheels with continental dw tyres
  

Best thing about the new tune is how well it is for daily driving, no issues with cold starts, low idle, heaps better fuel consumption when cruising, comes on boost strong and early but linear at the same time? just feels like the car loves to hook up and go maybe that's because of the tyres/suspension but its amazingly agile and predictable which I think shows the qaulity of plazmamans gear and spiros tuning, the exhaust is awesome and I love the note the only problem was once installed there was alot of banging but the boys at autotech fixed it up and it sounds a treat.

haha yeah I noticed, sorry our headings are really similar, couldnt think of anything else to have as a heading... I actually havent taken any photos since ive had them on but I will hopefully this weekend while all the new bits are still shiny:)

and same goes with the boost I start looking at the rd when it flys by 10psi and that's the only graph I have, ill get somone to keep a eye on the gauge next time im going somewhere with someone.

F6MARK, havent really been able to have that much fun yet cause of the whole double demerits and the fact unis started back I need to finish all the assignments:( hopefully this weekend comming ill be able to take it out for some extended spirited driving

WILDXR, Yeah haha the plazmaman gears awesome had heaps of comments about how much better in makes the front look and all the guys ive shown the engine bay too love everything about it haha

Hey guys so just a bit of an update, nothings changed and I haven't got an inspection hole in my block so all is well lol.

Thinking of changing the injectors to id1000 and move to e85 seeing as there is a united in dee why with it which is around the corner from where I live. Not sure if I want more power as I would hate to eat my words and have to buy a new block

Also thinking of changing the valve springs, not because the standard ones have gone soft but if I go to an e85 tune I may aswell do em for safety and havent spent much/done much to the car in ages

Just chucked a picture of the car up since henz asked ages ago about how they look, sorry mate time escaped lol but have one now so yeah if anyone sees me around give a beep or wave:)
