Looks like a big tank for 1.6 litres. What width and length, height?

Its no that big when you look at it in person..The mounting plate is what makes it look big.

Mate not sure...Looking in the bottom 1/2 fitting it looks like there is some sort of plate inside or baffle inside...hard to tell though through the small hole...

Is there a need for a baffle??? As the the pressure pump is drawing from the bottom of the swirl pot. so doesnt matter which way you turn or accellerate there will always be fuel.. ?

The idea behind it is to supply it with fuel all the time, via a low pressure fuel pump. If it's always full there's no need for baffles, as there should be no sloshing back and forth in a full header tank.

yeh but its the swirl on low tank that causes havock with a normal system hence the swirl/surge tank gets added in to reduce /eliminate the effect if its just like 2 fuel tanks the possiability for surge/swirl can still happen

plates in the tank is a good sign its like water going down the bath plug hole looks like a twister need to interupt that effect

yeah fair call...so as long as you have at least half a tank of motion lotion in the back swirl shouldnt happen? More of a problem if your trying to do a run with minimial fuel to reduce weight?

yes but with correct baffles in place u should beable to do a run with less than a 1/8th of a tank safely (400mtrs)
