Thanks for the kind words boys.

Its taken 4yrs lots of money lots of stress and lots of let downs and bullsh*t. Bruce is the 5th tuner the car has been to and im finally confident I have found the right man to get it running. ( yes all the previous tuners couldnt even get the car to idle !!!). Every time ive had the car towed from one dyno shop to another it has another scratch another scuff and even my flash tuner stolen.

I bought the car completely stock in Dec 2007 ( for every day car ) that lasted 3 weeks till I handed it over to have absolutely everything I could think of done. Almost 2yrs later I had built engine, 1000hp plazmaman kit, built btr trans with high stall, 4.11 gears and 331rkws with an apperantly slipping convertor. I did 3500kms including 1000kms running diff gears in before my $4500 transmission crapped itself.

From there I decided to bite the bullet and have built the best c4 money can buy and for some reason go to the massive turbo setup it has now. I havnt driven the car since April 2010 and have spent almost the whole of 2011 trying to get it tuned.

Fingers crossed im driving it home this time.....

PS. In regards to the brakes there over rated especially when you cant drive the car anyway. :bangcomputer:

Torqu3 was back at jrm's for the past week again- he reckons its done, but its the 4th time its been back to be sorted since he rebuilt the 'built' btr I had- cant fault Jamie's service as such as he's had a 'not a worry, bring it back and I'll sort it' attitude, but im a bit fed up of getting it back just to get home (50mins away) and find it has no reverse gear again...... bangcomputer.gif

im sure he's sick of the sight of it as well, but if it was thoroughly checked the first time he had it back.....? dontknow.gif

he assures me its all good now, so hopefully no more probs.....

xr whats ya name?

had a good old convo with bruce and gave him a heads up to the id injectors and who is currently using them to find the " secrets" into how to get them to run

brillant set up in that car well done who did u use for info on the build ?

whose had a go at tuning it?

who built the 4.5k tranny?

Hey jet I'm Jake,

I don't really wanna get myself in trouble so im not gonna say the way I really feel about some of the people I've dealt with. But Bruce knows of the last few that I had LOTS of fun with. Needless to say they are all highly regarded in adelaide. And when my car is finally done they will all be hearing about it and who finally tuned it.

I know the injectors are a big issue and not many people know what to do with them so any info is massively appreciated.

As for the set up no one really helped me at all my engine builder Peter Gagliardi has been awsome throughout the build and done everything I have asked and then some, he pretty much put the whole car together for me. I did so much reading and researching before I chose which way to go and what to use. I also read alot of the 5 and 600kw section haha...

Look its a hit miss with the BA's you give it respect its gives you respect back....3 months into the tune and im still sitting on over 300rwkw, 16psi and the trans is still in 1 peice and shifting strong.....and I do thrash it...as you would of seen from the other nights cruise, I kain holdens daily, I run every mut in his 6lt that pulls up, kain em and be on my way...still hasnt budged. I might be lucky or it may be the fact I dont boot it into 3rd or it could be that I only drive in performance mode..who knows but if you can find yourself a grandpa spec xr6t regardless of what year/model then grab it...mine was from a really old guy in mt barker barely driven so I was lucky. and I did pay 20k firm for it...could of got myself a BF for that price.

didnt think the owner would actually rock up on here so that's why I blacked the plates as its definately worth the pic hahah killer car.

yep theres lots of places in adelaide who claim to be the king tuners but when push comes to shove u found out the rest. but I do know of one of the said tuners and iam really suprised he couldnt get it actually theres 2 but well talk later about them hahah

bruce definately does a great job he might not have the flashest workshop in s.a but those who pack a killer work shop pay for it through your coin and u still dont nessicearly get the results ( I have s3it spelling)

bruce was telling me how it runs and drives now still just dealing with the injector scaling but I put confidance in him to get it right mind u 2200cc may be to big for the application who knows :dontknow:

bruce reckns its gunna run at least 500rwkw with your hardware if that baby hooks up its gunna move bloody fast

any efforts to take it to the drags once finished?
