Im having real trouble with banks even talking to me, no one wants to lend a 19 year old any money for a house. I have a perffect credit rating, managing my car loan fantasicly, earn more than enough money for a 230g loan. Gives me the sh*ts. I was 22 when I braught my first house only me on the loan so sux major ass but deposit deposit deposit is the only way a major bank is gunna lend u cash yes devine do a no deposit jobby look into it big time . My mate did the no deposit thingo it was ok but he still used about 2 grand on bits and pieces through out the process. look what I did was saved 10 grand yes f*cking hard then went to comm bank and only borrowed 187. plus my 10 made 197 I braught from devine due to the best value for money hands down and everything is included. and again I burnt up a cpopla grand on sh*t through out the process. devine as a builder top quality for the money and every thing done butt. but be aware of the current rates 230. grand @ the 8.5 ish % its gunna be 450 aweek then the insurance and bills in general it adds up fast u will quickly realise that your car ant gunna get a dollar spent on it for ages trust me but we all have to start some where and good on u for being smart about itjust for the record I had no loans credit or radio rentals when I went to the bank totall clean record and 10g in pocket yes jumping through hoops does come to mind. hahaha.I do rember being 19 and wanting a house to but the hole car thingo got me to and I dont regret being young and stupid and having fun there is always time for being smart. have fun wile u can. Gloo Member 403 Member For: 16y 7m 6d Gender: Male Location: Northern South Australia Posted 20/06/08 07:59 AM Share Posted 20/06/08 07:59 AM Bummer I didnt realise 230g would crack the 400 dollar mark, I guestimated 390. My bad, got that wrong. I got just over 10g in the bank atm. Im getting the heeby jeebs trying to decide weather to put the house of for a year or 2 and go wild on my car pay it off and have fun or quit my bitching and do what I gotta do. Real estate is just crazy, half the time it just seems to hard. And if I get a house, with payments of 450 just on the house, I will be pushing my money to be able to own the house car petty and bills. I have done the sums and I am comfertable with 390 living on my own, might have to consider getting a mate to board with me, no shortage of them. But would have liked to do it by my self.As for the miss's she is only 17, still at school, wants to be a hair dress and is doing the whole appretice thingo. She wont be able to contribte to a house hold so I gave her the thumbs down if she thinks she is going to move in and live the good life. Foolish girl.Car house car house... Wish I earned another 200 bucks a week, then I could do it. Did some one say ask for a pay rise. Thanks for the insight turbo jet. Ill be patient for now. Holding out till near the end of the year when devine get there selves into gear, so should have close to another 10g if im good, or ill have close to 10 grand spend on my car. Well see. Gloo Member 403 Member For: 16y 7m 6d Gender: Male Location: Northern South Australia Posted 21/06/08 12:20 AM Share Posted 21/06/08 12:20 AM I can concrete, hard work. I screeted 17 meters of a 2 meter wide path, biggest one I done so far. I was excesivly sore after that. Im a construction worker, well civil construction so we do alot of concreting and road building and laying pipes etc etc.As for the house slab, do they use an accelerant in house slabs? Heard a romour that concrete takes like 7 years for the concrete to be at its hardest. Of course you can walk on a slab in a days or so being poured but its still quite soft, scuff your feet and you will leave a nasty scratch that wont go awayDo you guys do small jobs?We have some kerbs at work that need fixing pretty soon, been running 30 ton dump trucks over the road at a couple of places up near highburry quarry. So yeah, probably got 30 odd meters of kerbing to fix. Could put a word in for you guys?Any way. I feel like going down to fords today and testing out some fg's. Better ring first.Yay, its the weekend.
