Been through it a few times boys but to 95% of customers u would not know what the diff was as its bugger all that effects the direct performance of the car, but for the obscuse vehicles SCT is a must we know this

Between me and daz weve had nearly 10 turbo/blown late model falcons and we cant tell the diff between HP and SCT

And yes the fart is 100% removable with HP

Yeh would of been well stuffed with reducing torque on WOT shifts , that phucks everything up

( runs off to email ford at their fault ....... )

If you want the ZF tune then go the Xcal3 tuning.

Keeping the farts can seem safe but with higher horsepower than say tune only the delay the fart makes inside then the sudden impact of the trans coming alive again with fart gone can be a bad thing...in fact it is.

Stronger input shafts/good clutches help immensely in this area but if with a stock trans just be wary.

Stronger line pressure etc can also be addressed with a ZF tune and make the box even more enjoyable.

Can one have the ability to change tunes,read DTC's and data log with software other than Xcal?

Have you got/had a ZF gearbox? Have you had one break using HP Tuners as a tuning tool? Have you had one tuned with SCT?

My ute is tuned with HP, only BA though with F6 engine. Back when I had motor fitted, only HP available down here.

Since then, Paul has now got SCT as well.
