Moderating Team 10,981 Member For: 11y 7m 5d Gender: Male Location: Frankston, 3199 Posted 27/03/14 03:21 PM Share Posted 27/03/14 03:21 PM As explained to me (very politely by Dags) - runs/cruises/organised events etc organised through the forum have a potential for issues if anything happens on the run that could flow back to the forum/site owner etc.As such there are cruise controllers for each state and the state based forums are locked down for moderation.I think I snuck our cruise "chance meeting" under the radar so to speak as an off forum catchup.Maybe if you posted something like - "Hey guy's - I'm heading from Hindley Street on Saturday arvo for lunch in the hills, hope to encounter some of you out on the road" you'd not have a problem (don't quote me on it)If you tried to organise a forum cruise event you probably would be shut down?Yeah - every other state has a page, but they are also locked - for the reasons above.
