haha I did look at the old simmons, but I had put the price of rims and tyres down at $3000 on my insurance so these were about the best I could get. unfortunately they have put the wrong offset on the rears (I didnt order them) and the rims stick out past the guards so good times ahead getting that sorted

spent half the day on the phone only to find out that they are 20 x 10s on the rear and they dont legally fit FG sedans unless u roll your guards, run 255 tyres and a few degrees neg camber and that only makes them fit but still not legal :( only other size they have in 20s is 8.5 which is what is on the front. So it looks like if u are after these rims Jet u need 20 x 8.5s all round. so goodbye dish for me as I dont want to get defected for them and then have to take the whole car through regency and there's no way im only running a 255 on the rear. wont get insurance with the current setup either as its past the legal track width for an FG. hating life

no ones actually told me the offset, suspension bloke who is fixing the car didnt know lol and when I spoke with ozzy tyres they just said that they wont fit in staggered format on FG sedans. just checked the vertini website and it shows multiple widths (8.5,9,9.5,10,10.5) for the 20in rim but its possible that they all have crazy offsets. very annoying that the insurance company did not just leave it to me to organise my own rims

Yeh mate it sounds like its got a wack offset as ive seen many 20x10's on fg rear and barely even look flush

So if your packing poke its going to be a PITA on everything as u said

yeah well I used to run a 9.5 rear with no dramas at all. in hindsight I should have looked into it more rather than simply selecting what I liked and letting the suspension bloke do the rest. ah well I'll still try and run larger tyres on the soon to be 8.5 rears but I'm just going to have to sacrifice my dish for the time being.
