Mrxd hi and welcome

Kpm has its followers and good on them they deserve that clientel.....

Then everyone else goes to bruce or willall

Kpm tuned xrt's have poped up many times and then been retuned at a different place and gains were had all over the rpm range with no hardware changes...

A little wile back there was a black fg xr6t that was kpm tuned and layed down the same dyno graph until about half way through the rpm range before it picked up ......same as a stock xr6t,on the street it was just gay, said bloke got a bruce tune and nothing else and turned into a animal on the street .. To say he was happy is a huge understatement.

There is a few tuners who dont like to tune for low end and then give it a bit of a poke later on to make a number, its safe and u dont work the car anywhere near as hard as an agressive tune.but once uve had an agressive tune theres no going back.

As for high dyno I proved bruces dyno against a victorian mainline (pitlane) and it was exactly 19rwkw out 427/409 19kw over 400 is chump change

Just for your info the most power off a small turbo so far is glouva in vic with a 11.01@126mph nizpro tuned

Bruce has tuned spoolax xr6t with the small turbo to 127mph ...... Mph is direct power

Cant be that bad ?

Had a mate drop by last night with his standard GS315 Ute and his mate who had a Tuned GT from KPM, both were very impressive! the ute for stock standard lit those rears up nicely, and just kept pulling! had a real smile on my face... and the GT, well I was expecting more from it when I heard it was "tuned" but then realized it was a KPM tune, and I just gave up all hope from there :focus: The bloke even said he was going to head down to bruce's and get a tune done with him, because it was honestly disappointing to say the least, felt no different really to the ute (which was standard)

To be completely honest, I've had a turbo before, LOVED it for every second I owned her... but I wouldn't mind a bit of a super-charged lifestyle for a change... so I guess I'll go with the GS315 UTE and take it down to bruce to get this baby tuned up!

Hahahaha! I know!! I was like whhhaaaattt.... go us Jet! :asciidity:

But in all seriousness as Jet said, KPM have their followers, But for majority of us we either use Bruce, or Willall.

As I stated, The Tuned GT, said to be running 357rwkw (filter+tune) felt maybe only a slight bit different to the Complete stock GS (which pulled 266rwkw standard) On KPM dyno. So for 90kw difference, it sure didn't fell any different, maybe give or take 10%. This is why I'll be seeing Bruce as soon as I get A Coyote and unleashing the beast within!

Thanks for the input and the welcome. Bruce's quote was significantly cheaper, but it's not really about the cash for me. These cars aren't cheap to begin with so I'm willing to put up the cash to get it done properly.

I was leaning towards kpm mostly because they are 5 mins down the road from me and if there were any issues it'd be convenient, but maybe it's worth another fang down to londsdale? Cheers again

yup if your all about the black and white checkered floors k.p.m is your place bud

just wonder who is actually paying for that lol

all ive tryed to do is help u on the path to the leading tuner in s.a ( dont forget bruce used to be kpm's tuner )

its up to u and when u buy a new/near new fpv like alot of us have u need to feel comfortable where u take it....

flashy work shops and over priced under performing results....................or a workshop with reasonable prices and leading results

tuff call.......

#427/409 = 18kw difference.

Cheers.
