I'm keen to try a few laps and see how I go. It's been a while since I've been around mallala. Not interested in the drift scene, just a casual car day...if such a day exists?

Ale Member 249 Member For: 13y 6m 12d Posted 28/06/12 11:17 PM Share Posted 28/06/12 11:17 PM (edited) yep, open track days once a month, usually divided into sessions with 2 main groups, guys with CAMS licence, and ones that get day licences.Around$150 to do it and great fun. You get around 4 or 5 x15 min sessions. It may not sound like much, but that's potentially 1hr of flat out driving. I've done it once, quickly find the limits of your car and personall abilites that's for sure. Keen to go again.Martin Donon: well aware that hed be the guy having a play with those top end GTR ecu's,he is a very lucky guy to have rich and trusting close friends that give him those oppurtunities.Followed his "progress" from the days he ran Fueltronics out of Kentown and used to tune Camira AC delco comupters using Kalmaker software. Used to love his very public "discussions" with Julian Edgar .I still read his ramblings in various publications, always a intresting read and hes tuned a few of my mates cars along the way.Havnt done cars if you havnt heard of him to some extent Edited 28/06/12 11:19 PM by Ale
