it was 4000 with everything installed and had a stage 3 malwood clutch and lightened flywheel, the clutch feels heaps heavier than a standard clutch.

did u see the clutch b4 it was installed ?

u just spent half the cars cost right there lol 4k phuck me man big $$$ but if your happy why not , did u get to keep your old stuff?

yeah I kept got all the old stuff if you anyone who wants it, I dint see it b4 but it feels alot stronger than standard I guess ill find out tommorow when it goes into bruces.

Hey peeps gotta pull my turbo off soon to do the bigger flapper mod and was thinking while iv got it off I might as well give her a rebuild. do I have to change the whole core or can u replace just the bearing part on it's own? the prop wheel and front housing are in good nick. Anyone rebuilt there 35/40? cheers

silvio bearings and cases are avaliable but shafts can snap aswell for 900 bucks u can get off fleebay a hole complete core shaft,bearings, and new front and rear wheel excellent value for money

yep I hear ya mate good money spent now saves later , but athol park are a wreckers and they can have a name attached to that title "wreckers" so id be worried about the condition of said clutch as its a big ticket item if it doesnt keep up to the task, with a minimum of a visual inspection the condition of a clutch is everything to determin the life of said unit but what is done is done now hope its all good

few of us have seem a malwood opt 3 clutch drive fine (for the time being) but on removal wondered how it was actually working totally buggered and needed a rebuild just something to keep in the back of ya mind

Yep seen it first hand for myself and it caused grief because I wouldn't accept it as is or rebuilt by anyone other than Malwood.
