Just done mine at bruces, good second hand one .

8 3/4 quarter

New was too expensive.

took my cortina to bruces a few years back to do the diff, he sent me straight up to boss differentials up behind the lonsdale hotel. They went to try a kazz but couldn't fit it in the housing, so but they built me up a sweet 8 3/4 38 spline with moser axles that was tighter than a nuns c**t and tuff as hell... and did it all for good prices. Thinking about seeing them for a kazz in the BF.

Graham has full drag racing background and started off building all his own diffs so trust me he knows his sh*t, and bruce recomended me to them too.

RMF modifications does good work too, he welded up a bracing rig on my diff after I snapped the welds from the trailing arms to th chassis. he specialises in rollcages, body mods, roof chops, suspension mods etc... I can't find his cantact details but he used to be on osullivans bch rd just up from hilliers. ask bruce he knows em all!

gotta love lonsdale industrial precinct... =)

I would fit a surge tank if u plan to make 400+

Should be good for 400rwkw with full exhaust or around 350 with cat punched out

not going that far yet, but nice to know!!... that would require at min intercooler, piping, surge tank, zorst & upgraded clutch & diff... just wanna break the 300 mark and I'll be happy for a while. as far as I know the standard injectors and pump are only good for sub 300rwkw. found siemens 60lb for $350 B.I.N. on ebay, walbro 255 universal kit for $140 B.I.N. and all top rated australian sellers... just gotta make sure they are genuine. then save a few more $$$ take it in to bruce and get it all installed, get cat knocked through and maybe an e85 tune... would hopefully see 330at the rear? just wondering how well the standard AP clutch will hold up to it...

hey panda what did u do to your front bar? is that a fg bar on ba/bf? the fairy lights aren't standard obviously... origionaly thought it was a fg from your avatar until I looked closey at the headlights! u got any pics of the full front end?

its a xtandard ba xr front bar, I had a front end bingle so got a new one and wanted to do something different. the 'fairy lights' are ebay jobbies.

I had the panel beater put them in and we masked up the panda eyes, checked it out and I thought, wha the hell. so I had it done.

I reckon it looks ok, although many will not. when I see piccies of my car with the old bar on it looks 'bald' now....

ended up using dark metallic paint instead of black- it would have been too harsh

My mates BF2 XR6T with ZF6sp, Cat back exhaust and cat knocked out, F6 cooler and injectors made 330rwkw tuned by Bruce. So can't see why would not EASILY make over 300rwkw. No luck needed ford_boy4l :dancer:
