The sound deadening, insulation, fuse box, and steering related items are left. And the AC box/mixer thingo. How should I ripp this bitch out, its connected to the AC lines so does that mean there is gass in there? I didnt want to mess to much with it just in case it went bang.Another few hours tomorrow and I should have the whole interia done, ill tidy up the looms so the sit out the way. Car needs new injectors as they are leaking and a radiator. Dunno what ill do there, might find something a bit bigger than stock and weld up some custom brackets. The RB30's have those viscous fans on the Harmonic balancer, so ill f*ck that off and get some electic thermos. Least ill know she wont cook when doing skids. Will have my gauges, push button start, isolators. All the works on there. Dunno how ill mount the cluster yet. So yeah, the plan is to have it bare down to the fire wall with just the metal thingo and the cluster. How are your gauges coming along?Nothing wrong with a quite one. Gloo Member 403 Member For: 16y 7m 5d Gender: Male Location: Northern South Australia Posted 15/08/10 05:01 AM Share Posted 15/08/10 05:01 AM Got the AC done this sarvy, I found a bleed point and cracked her open, 5 mins later it was still hissing away. Green sh*t spewed out everywere. I got sick of waiting so I went in for the kill, me and a pair of wire cutters. I cut it and nothing happened. I was like like wtf, I had crimped the lines enough to seal it. I got on it with some pliers to open her up and f*ck me. My car port filled with this gass, it was bellowing out. Looked like fog, it might just be evaperation from the cold gass rushing for the system. Took about 2 mins to stop hissing out.AND YOU TOLD ME THERE PROBABLY WONT BE f*ck ALL... Haha, its all good. I got it done.90% of of the insides is stripped. I just have a few fiddly bits to get out, roof liner, door seals and sh*t. There was rubber and insuation all along the fire wall, I got most of it off accept for some that is bolted up to the fire wall behind the steering coloum mounts. I had to pull all the fuse box and looms right out because I couldnt get in there. Also the car doesnt start, not sure if that because I have f*cked my fuse box or some part of the loom, or if its because there is no fuel. So im off to get some juice and will spend the rest of the day diagnosing my starting issue.I wanted to have the whole intera out and it looking shmiko but I might have to finish her off next weekend maby. Ill do some more pics tonight.
