Anyone still having crashing issues with BF3 try this also. Every time you go to play open up origin first, click the gear icon then click go offline. Then open the battlelog browser and start your game. Have played for a few hours tonight and no probs so far, fingers crossed.

I have also reinstalled my afterburner as it seems the 500 series nvidia cards have some heat issues in BF3 and I need to run the fans at %100. my top card hit 94c tonight which is very hot. Im still amazed it never flaked out on me.

I just got it working. What a fvckin mission. Had to format and do a clean install.

Must say I am very disappointed that DICE say its eyefinity capable- and it blatently isnt. Its unplayable even on the lowest settings, so for now im running it on just the one monitor until they patch it.

Good fun and looks awesome on ultra- athough game wise Im getting my ass handed to me. My BC2 experience seems to have faded...

Tag is RomeoKilo.

Im running an i7 920 @ 3.8, 2X CF HD6970's and 3X 24's in a cockpit.

In origin I set my status to invisible coz couldnt see any offline option will try tonight.

that's why ive gone watercooling gasman. Ive been running 2 cards back since the 6800GT when sli was invented. Top card has always been up there temps wise. Now nothing goes over 50 degrees under full load.

Yes hanging for the first patch. Hopefully get multi monitor working again.

I didnt realise you could water cool your GPU? Thought it was only done on CPU :/

The setting is in the little cog (settings) menu, 3rd from the bottom in the drop down box "Go Offline"

in game I run highest possible. when I was playing bc2 when I first got the system a couple months ago. checked temps after a couple hrs gaming n didnt go over 30. im thinking of over clocking the cpu a bit. go 4.something. highly recommend noctua cpu coolers after seeing how good this one is lol. and got the easiest bios ever with the asus maximus. so simple n easy. easy to use programs installed to view temps, fan speeds n adjust their speed while playing. very very happy with this system, all up just over 2grand n that's everything in the case. thinking of getting another ssd though as the stupid one I got now (patriot wildfire)..its a problem with all their drives, the sata cable doesnt actually click in..the plastic case is too far above the plug to catch the clip. I been thinking of getting another one, mirror it all onto the new one..wipe the patriot and take it back.

actually just thought then..wonder if ill be able to claim this computer for tax next yr lol. ill have an abn/business name in april when I qualify..anyone know if it can be done? got all the receipts still..
