Screen just freezes and I gotta alt+tab out of it to find the window sayin bf3 failed. Funny thing is I had CTDissues with BF2 that I only fixed a few months ago when I decided to install it again to try get my eye in for bf3. Btw I played bf2 from its release day. that's how many years of CTD?Fixed it by running it with only 1 processor. But somethin tells me that wont fix bf3. Im thinkin I need ram upgrade. Turn off any fan profile apps like afterburner cpu-z .Also if using ASUS bios profiler and fan control tools unnstall them. Remove any overclocks. Also run PBupdater you can get the .exe on line just google. Even if you know its installed just run the installer like a new installation.The crashes seem to be PB related, conflict with fan profile and overclocking.Also turn off triple buffering. Even though this game has the latest frostbite engine it hasnt been designed to run properly on top end machines. Seems that games are released now without being fully tested and get patched as they go. I know people blame lag when they are sh*t but seriously I was struggling with it hard. I ran down the same alley 3 times and on the 4th try I got shot in the back right at the end. Later ran across the alley and took cover behind a big crate. Only to find when I scoped I was standing back in the middle of the alley with bullets on their way to my head. Made me very kranky. Later aggressv1 said he was scoping me with his sniper rifle and I was just glitchin all over the map. On my screen I was just drifting left even though was standing still. Ps. Bring on golf of oman. In saying that ,a mate of mine plays using wireless and he is still very good.
