Fortunately they don't have a turbo so no one really cares.

Hey Dillz after owning a turbo 6 then the BA GT and now the supercharged 5.0Lt V8.....mate, no comparison, the Coyote is bloody streets ahead of the others.

And if by some mischance I get a Expensive Daewoo to beat me then it's...."Oi Simon, tune the bugger" :buttrock:

Yeah I aint impressed, no 6/4 brembos standard = FAIL

There is hardly much to differ this to a normal black GT, as it was said!

It's a REAL shame they didn't follow the concept with ducts on front bar and wider 20" rims at the back

I 100% agree with all comments that say the Black edition is disappointing (especially compared to concept which was never going to happen in the current financial stress of Ford).

But then anyone who bought a standard GT and didn't buy the black instead (if they had the choice) has made a very poor decision. The black looks pretty good to my eyes (compared to the "hockey stick" rubbish) and for only a few $$ more (with a few extras thrown in as well). In the scheme of things, they are a much better buy with a level of exclusivity and potentially better resale.

As per op, I have my flak jacket on also due to the severe hate of the Black edition on this site! ha ha :dwarf:

Sort of off topic but have any of you seen the focus rs500 in all black? Looks great and is even more exclusive then the GT maybe this is what ford was hoping to achieve. (yes I know they are a chicks car)

Being a Tassie boy, few "different" cars make it down here. Saw the GT "black edition " for the first time in the flesh today.....didn't look that flash - wheels look way too small and overall just OK.

However, doesn't change the fact it is still not a "terrible" buy compared to others and will hold its value better - I also saw a light blue one with black stripes like the picture on the home page - for me, truly vomit inducing - just looked cheap and VERY tacky. The other recent thread of the GT in black (with matte black stripes) looks superb in comparison, I suppose "taste" is in the "eye of the beholder"!!

BHAHAHAHAHAHA.......The "different" cars would suit the people down there

that's for sure.

So what do you drive CBXRT?

Have you got a build thread going at all??

Any photos of your ride anywhere?
