It was $5400 for front and rear.

Harrops Ultimate kit is $7500 with 6 pot 380mm fronts and rears same as mine.

The monster kit IMO is great value for a quality brake kit that is ADR compliant.

VCM website lists the Ultimates at $6,450.. :idunno:

http://www.vcmstore....ake-Ulitmate-FG

* Two piece 381mm X 32mm 12-slot directional front rotors (pair)

* Two piece 356mm X 28mm 12-slot directional rear rotors (pair)

* 6 piston Harrop two piece aluminium front calipers (pair)

* 4 piston Harrop two piece aluminium rear calipers (pair)

Is it the same kit? :unsure:

Sorry I think is was $7200, then added braided hoses and because I'm in Perth, plus freight.

Pretty sure you will find braided hoses are optional, but that is still a good price.

The price of being individual I guess !!

Nearly double the value of Brembo 6/4 spot set up...

Lower volume production, bigger rotors. Also depends on how they compare in terms of quality.

The Alcon's are even more expensive.

I'd be betting the brembo's don't even come to the ultimates and fair chance the monster kit out performs the brembo's as well. Sure the brembo 6/4s can be got at just over $4k with hoses plus freight so about $1k diff to this monster kit. I think it's a small price to pay for quality/performance and individuality.
