Is it worth the risk? Can the tuner send you a tune to get you there?

I am interested in this myself as im tossing up whether to put a full exhaust on and do the same thing cos I live about the same distance away from any tuning shops

It seems a silly risk to save save a few hundred bucks but each to their own I guess..

I thought if they fit exhaust and they overboost, would it not go into limp mode? If you do go ahead and put it on, put a brick under the pedal so you cannot push it all the way down

I actually thought about doing this but decided it would be next to impossible to complete a drive for 4 hours without overtaking anything and giving it a bootfull. Could you survive being stuck behind a caravan?

Alternatively get your tuner to post out the xcal 3 with a valet tune with the rev limiter set to 2.5k or something....

Thanks they wanted $350 to install the dump & cat I now only have to drive 40 klms without boosting it
